Depends on how long you’ve been corresponding. Have you met in person? Have you talked with any of his friends or family? Have you researched him online? Have you checked the court records where he lives to find out if he has a record of any kind? That is public info and is free and easy to check on. Do you homeword BEFORE you move out there. Have him meet your friends and family first. This is not something to do willy nilly. Good luck, and stay safe!

Well, this might work. The book M or F by Lisa Papademirtiou and chris Tebbetts. Its not completely online dating. Basiclly, the main girl is too scared to talk to her crush, so her gay friend Marcus helps her chat with him through an online school board. Obviously, things are bound to go wrong, seeing as theyre not her words, so her crush isnt truly falling for her… Ever heard of Cyrano de Bergerac? Its very similar. Great read, check it out.
